The Knight Brenton James Funeral Group was founded in 1994, by the current owners, as Knight Family Funerals Pty Ltd. Shortly after the turn of the century, the company acquired Brenton James Funerals of Brighton, and now operates from two conveniently located funeral homes. With many funeral businesses now owned by investment banks and multinationals, Knight Brenton James is committed to carrying on the traditions and values of the family owned funeral company. The structure of Knight Brenton James allows us to offer genuine, personalised care and attention, as well as clear and honest, moderate pricing. We believe that only a family owned company, with long serving, trained and caring staff is able to offer this level of service. Knight Brenton James also has a strong commitment to the funeral profession. Company co-founder Robin Knight was instrumental in the foundation of the South Australian Funeral Homes Association, of which all members are family owned, independent companies committed to continually improving funeral service standards, and furthering the honesty and integrity of the funeral industry.
