Is your company Australian owned and operated?

Yes ... Knight Brenton James is a local family owned and operated company. The principal founders work in the day to day operations of the business. We have found that our staff stability has been a comfort to many families who have called upon us on more than one occasion.

Are your staff appropriately trained and qualified?

Yes ... Our experienced staff are familiar with diverse faiths and cultures, bereavement care, pre-paid funeral planning and undergo training programs both within our company and through our industry associations. We offer the highest standards of mortuary care and preparation including embalming when necessary. We keep up to date with the latest industry developments and legislative changes so we can offer the best advice about issues that may impact upon your family.

Funeral prices vary widely. How can I be assured that the service I arrange will constitute value for money and satisfy my expectations?

Only you can be the judge of that. We are always available to discuss your options and explain in detail our all inclusive pricing structure. Our funeral Homes, including chapels, lounges and coffin selection rooms are always available for your inspection to assist you in choosing a service that best reflects your needs and those of your family.

We pride ourselves at our ability to put people at ease and we never engage in any "hard sell" tactics. We simply offer advice where necessary and allow our clients to make their own decisions in their own time. Our inclusive fees allow for a high standard of presentation at funerals, so there is no pressure or obligation placed upon families to "upgrade" in order to satisfy expectations.

What happens to pre-paid funeral money. Is it safe?

All funds invested for your pre-paid funeral are lodged with an approved Friendly Society and cannot be drawn upon prior to the funeral. Strict legislation governs pre-paid funerals so you can be assured your investment is capital guaranteed and very safe.

Is your company a member of a professional association?

Yes ... Knight Brenton James Funeral Directors is a member of two industry associations. We are a foundation member of the South Australian Funeral Homes Association (S.A.F.H.A) and of the National Funeral Directors Association of Australia (NFDA)
